THE IDEA IN BRIEF

Many leaders are confused, sometimes frustrated, by the face that they offer feedback to a team member and yet do not see any lasting change in the person’s behaviour. This short, four-week program is designed to help leaders at any stage in their career hone their ability to provide effective feedback that has a lasting impact, and create a feedback culture in their teams and organisations.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The format is designed to be highly interactive, offering both leading edge thinking and practical techniques that can be implemented and practised immediately. A one-hour orientation session is followed by two 2-hour workshops, and two Peer Learning Group Meetings to practise and hone the skills taught.

The program is capped at 24 participants, but can be run with groups as small as 12. Optional 1:1 coaching is available at an additional cost.

    • Content covered includes:
      • Understanding our individual capacity for feedback and how we receive feedback from a physiological point of view
      • Asking for feedback and we can help those who provide us feedback increase the impact of their approach
      • Providing feedback in a way that can be heard and assimilated, including overcoming resistance to the feedback offered
    • A Learning Journal is provided, containing all the content with spaces for exercises and reflection.
    • Peer Learning Group Meetings (groups of three hosted by a Kemp Street Partners’ coach) are safe spaces in which to reflect, share insights and gain valuable additional perspectives, and help people commit to action.
    • Optional additional reading is provided for those interested in a ‘deeper dive’ into the content.
