INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Women in Leadership Program. The curriculum for the program is designed to really speak to what you are likely grappling with as a female leader… juggling the many demands that we have in our lives both professionally and personally, and just as importantly to bring together a group of women leaders across organisations, functions, and industries, who can share their own experiences and who can help and support and be available for one another both during the time that we’re together in the programme and beyond… I know that the participants of prior programs are still in touch with each other and that the bond they formed allows them to continue to be a trusted safe space for each other.

So often we are caught in the worlds of our own organisations; one of the benefits of this program is the network it offers, it’s been amazing to watch people understand that firstly they are not alone; the things you are facing transcend organisations and industries; and secondly to see participants help each other out with ideas, networks, introductions and so on.

If you haven’t already done so, please start by watching the short introductory video below.

Next, download the Learning Journal, by clicking on the image to the left. The Learning Journal which contains all the content and links for the material we cover in the program and includes spaces for notes, reflections and answers to exercises.

IMPORTANT NOTE: In order to be able to use the editable features of the pdf, you will need to open the document using Adobe Acrobat.

Right click on the document and ensure that you choose “Open with Adobe Acrobat”. If you are on a Mac, the default viewer, Preview, will work, but if you use the default views on Chrome, Edge etc. while you can open the document, you may not be able to access its full functionality unless you have opened it with Adobe Acrobat.

You do not need to read the Learning Journal from cover to cover before the program commences! We will work through the content module by module. However please read pages 1 to 6, and complete the pre-work that starts on page 7 prior to the first workshop.
